The Black and White Committee is excited to announce the speakers for the Women of Achievement lunch 2016.
PROFESSOR GILLIAN TRIGGS. Emeritus Professor Gillian Triggs is the President of the Australian Human Rights Commission. Her many career accomplishments include Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Sydney and a former Barrister.
JENNY BROCKIE. Jenny Brockie is a well-known journalist and is the host of INSIGHT on SBS TV where she facilitates an always lively and thought provoking discussion each week with more than 50 participants.
MARTA DUSSELDORP. Award-winning actress Marta Dusseldorp’s career spans more than two decades and her acting credits include Paradise Road, A Place to Call Home, Janet King and Jack Irish.
Our Guest of Honour will be Mrs Hurley, wife of His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales.
This year is a very special year with the 31st anniversary celebration. It will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney on Tuesday 7th June, 2016.
